A local of Seattle, Rachel Curforth began her ballet training at Olympic Ballet Theatre. In 2002, she moved on to continue her training at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. After performing two seasons of Kent Stowell’sNutcracker, Ms. Cutforth performed later as a guest artist for Victoria Titova’s Ballet Bellevue. Transitioning out of her performing career, Ms. Cutforth began teaching classical ballet in 2008 throughout the greater Seattle area. In February of 2012, she earned full teaching certification as a graduate of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. In June of 2012, she was awarded “ABT National Teacher Affiliation.
