Elizabeth began dancing at the age of 3 in a Mommy & Me class. From there, she performed in all styles of dance including Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hula and Tahitian. Liz received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Washington in 2011 where she majored in Sociology and minored in Dance. While at UW, she was a member of the Husky Dance Club and Hui Hoaloha Ulana, the Hawaii club. Liz was a head dance chair for the Hawaii club for 3 years, choreographing dances, choosing costumes and performing for the annual UW Luau. She truly found a love for teaching in college and took part of the Jumpstart program that worked with preschools in the Seattle area with writing and literacy. After college, Liz taught preschool for 2 years and is currently teaching Kindergarten Prep. She has a passion for early learning; Having the opportunity to teach dance has been an added bonus. She was offered her first teaching job at the first dance studio she took class at herself. Liz taught Creative Dance, Tap, Ballet and Parent/Toddler. She is very excited to be teaching this season at Vibe Dance Studio and she looks forward to a wonderful year of dance!
